Our soft touch clear coat kit provides a combination of toughness and soft, rubberized feel. This two-component polyester based soft touch clear coat passes 30-minute testing with 100% Deet and other corrosive solvents. Its durability and ease of use allow it to be used in any application.

Total mixed volume = 1.21 gallons

This clear coat kit comes with all the required components:

  • 1 Gallon: Insignia Soft Touch Clear
  • 1 Quart (partial fill): Medium Evaporation Rate Reducer
  • 1 Quart (partial fill): High Solids Converter

Mixing Ratio: 8 parts clear : 1 part reducer : 1 part converter

Important: Soft touch clear coat can be applied directly over paint. However, if an item is dipped, a clear coat must be applied prior to applying soft touch to ensure proper adhesion. Any of these will work: Dead Flat Clear Coat Kit (1-3% Gloss), Low Gloss Clear Coat Kit (5-10% Gloss), CCI Flat Clear Coat (3-5% Gloss), or CCI Semi-Gloss Clear Coat (10-15% Gloss).
