Our Raw Plastic Adhesion Promoter takes the headache out of painting raw plastic, especially polypropylene. It is a quick drying primer that is specifically designed to create a strong bond between raw uncoated plastic substrates and water or solvent-borne basecoat systems. This Raw Plastic Adhesion Promoter can be used on both interior and exterior applications. It is ready-to-spray right out of the can and works hand in hand with our Poseidon base coat paint system.

For use on Polypropylene, PVC, and untreated plastic.

Our Raw Plastic Adhesion Promoter has been engineered to ensure you get a high-performance, long-term foundation when painting raw untreated plastic parts. From primer to paint to clear coat, each Poseidon product features chemistry that works together to give you a coating that is worthy of a god.

Pro tip: Apply Raw Plastic Adhesion Promoter to raw untreated plastic only. If you are painting another substrate such as wood, metal, glass, vinyl, fiberglass, or treated plastic, simply apply our 1K Epoxy Primer.

Application Instructions: Raw Plastic Plastic Adhesion Promoter

  1. Prep surface: Sand with 400-600 grit sandpaper & wipe down, then flame treat.
  2. Stir & pour into your spray gun.
  3. Dust a light coat of Raw Plastic Adhesion Promoter over untreated plastic.
  4. Raw Plastic Adhesion Promoter will flash off almost instantly.
  5. Apply Poseidon base coat paint
